Ron's portfolio includes a wide range of subjects including Birds, Mammals, Landscapes, Still Life and Figurative. He paints in both acrylic and oil, and on both board and canvas, depending on the subject and style he desires to achieve. Louque's style of painting is highly refined and meticulous, far beyond the norm, usually requiring several weeks and sometimes months to execute a major painting. The artist spends much time in the field shooting reference photographs and studying his subjects first hand, resulting in paintings that are true to nature and of the highest caliber.
